No matter what you might think, some are better than others, and helping others is what we love to do. Consider doing as our friends are doing and raise awareness on the issues of homelessness in Denver and help to promote the best charities in Denver. Make a difference, do some good in 2016.
Denver Donate is not a religious organization but supports the common ideals found in major world religions. Virtually all religions offer a path to alleviate human suffering and attempt to enable their followers to connect to a force greater than themselves. Denver Donate seeks to leverage up-to-date information and business tools to allow you to make that same connection and help the same suffering people as your deity may compel you, but without specific religious underpinnings. If you are looking to find your place in the larger universe you can be assured that spending time proactively helping others is one of the few actions you can take to make your own existence more relevant. Engaging in common materialistic pursuits of Western civilization is not necessarily bad or evil, but it also offers nothing to the bigger picture. We believe that common people have to act to represent common global interests. And we believe that most common people need to be pushed out of complacency by saturating them with social facts and suggested actions.
Our main view on politics is that the existing two parties controlling the US have outlived their usefulness. The poison of corporate and special interest money, mixed with political ambition, has led to bad government policy and inaction, thereby ruining life opportunities for a huge portion of the population. Fortunately the US political system allows dissent and as such we believe at least two additional viable parties should compete for the popular vote. We think new parties should evolve by recruiting a few key moralistic Republicans and Democrats to form the philosophical bases. Since Denver Donate is nonpartisan we don't plan on having any direct involvement with any new or existing parties.
Also the Republicans and Democrats consistently mismanage money across the board. All Congresspeople are not the same and most are definitely upstanding citizens. Their mistake is in adopting the party and corporate line, and doing the corporate and party bidding on the Hill by proxy. Bad laws and wasteful programs are often the result of corporate influences. Whether bad laws, ideas, and math is being pushed upon us by design or by accident is irrelevant. It is a horrible system that leaves waste of taxpayer money, and pain among the less fortunate classes at the end of the day. Political parties that have the best and the brightest managing the money and social programs have to emerge to beat the entrenched, wasteful, petty, partisan groups. Corporations should be removed from the financing of politics to the extent it conforms with the Constitution.
There are currently unlimited millions of suffering people on the planet that can readily benefit from your participation in addressing crucial US and global issues. We often try to ignore that fact but it is of no use. While getting involved may be a challenge, the combined good faith efforts of the masses can in fact create major, relevant societal improvements. Denver Donate does not seek to push any particular subject or action on you but merely to encourage you to study and act on the issues that you take to heart. Our sites try to provide a good faith effort at explaining the basics on many important issues, along with links to often excellent resources.
Future generations (the human gene pool) depends on the proper decisions and actions of the current generation. If you have or plan to have children (or nieces and nephews) you can not afford not to act for their sake. While suffering certainly encompasses issues like hunger, disease, poverty and refugees, it is also significantly affected by legal, economic, environmental and other issues we seek to address.
Denver Donate associates comprise organizations and people the world over who believe common citizens working in concert can and will make a profound difference!
